We may have found the perfect guy for Anna Leigh Waters. His name is Blades Brown.

Brown is a 17-year-old phenom making his professional golf debut this week at The American Express Championship (PGA Tour) in La Quinta, CA.

And, he absolutely loves hitting the 20x44 with his family members - especially his mother - whenever he isn't on a golf course.

In a Jan. 14 story featured on GolfDigest.com, Senior Editor Tod Leonard explained that while Brown will "face some of the fiercest competitors in the game" over the new few days in the California desert, “still, he’s not going to contend with the steely looks he gets from his mom on a regular basis when they play pickleball.”

Brown's mother is Rhonda Blades Brown, a former standout basketball player at Vanderbilt University who also played professionally in the WNBA.

"Pickleball has become a favored pastime for the clan at home in Nashville, Tenn. - evident by Blades Brown's reaction to flying over the Coachella Valley... noting the inordinate number of golf courses and pickleball courts," wrote Leonard.

Upon arrival for the tournament, he immediately texted his mother to bring along his pickleball gear so they could play together during his downtime.

"My mom... she's already a competitor. My dad [Parke] is too, but my mom, she and I, we go at it hard in pickleball," said Brown, during a press conference on Tuesday. "The quickness that I have is a little bit faster than hers, but she's intimidating sometimes, I got to admit. Like, if I go up three or four points, all of a sudden she gets that look on her face and you're like, ‘Uh oh, do I want to be sacrificing my relationship with my mom right now, or what are we doing here?’ But no, it's a lot of fun to go at it with her.”

Talk about adorable to the max.

Maybe invite Blades to your upcoming 18th birthday party, Anna Leigh? It would be the perfect opportunity to get to know each other.

We think Mama Waters would definitely approve.
