Johns leads PPA men's singles rankings again after defeating Staksrud
DALLAS, TX - Ben Johns is back in familiar territory.
With his straight-game victory over Federico Staksrud on Championship Sunday at the Vizzy Atlanta Open, Johns officially recaptured the No. 1 spot atop the PPA men's singles rankings.
The 25-year-old American superstar actually surpassed Staksrud, who previously replaced Johns as the top-ranked men’s singles player.
Along with his singles status, Johns is currently the PPA Tour's top-ranked player in men's doubles and mixed doubles as well.
