Craig Johnson, a Mesa, Arizona native, was raised in the heart of the desert. His athletic journey began as a multi-sport enthusiast, dabbling in various activities before finding his passion for tennis during his high school years. Embracing his talent, Johnson went on to play college tennis for PLNU in sunny San Diego.
It was in late 2020 that Johnson's path intersected with pickleball, sparking a newfound passion for the sport. Venturing into the world of pickleball, he quickly found his stride, joining the Arizona Pickleball League and making his mark on the court. In a memorable match, Johnson and his opponent, Ben Johns, set a record for the longest dink rally in PPA history, solidifying his presence in the pickleball community.
Beyond the courts, Johnson's life is enriched by his role as a husband and father to two children. Together with his father, he runs a business, balancing the demands of entrepreneurship with his love for pickleball and family.
