Born in West Hills, California, Gabriel Joseph is the Director of Pickleball at the Calabasas Pickleball Club, widely regarded as the most luxurious pickleball facility in the United States. He began playing pickleball in 2019 with friends and quickly developed a deep passion for the sport. Joseph graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Joseph has been competing on the PPA Tour since 2020, reaching a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the world in 2021, a true OG of the modern game. He rose to national prominence during the 2023 Takeya Showcase, where he captured the gold medal in singles with a headline-making victory over Federico Staksrud. Over the course of his career, he has secured notable wins over many of the sport’s top players, including Ben Johns, Tyson McGuffin, Connor Garnett, JW Johnson, Christian Alshon, and others.
Off the court, Joseph enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Neeka. The two love to travel, explore new restaurants, and unwind at home with dinner and a good show. A fan of tennis star Nick Kyrgios and musical artist Drake, Joseph brings a vibrant and dynamic personality to the sport. He is proudly sponsored by TriggerGripPro, Slice House, and Net Hydrate. He is also the proud owner of Kobe, his brindle French Bulldog.
