Joel Poland first discovered pickleball recreationally in Nebraska four years ago. After moving to Phoenix three years ago for a full-time sales career, he began taking the sport more seriously, competing in local cash games and steadily developing his game.

Poland eventually began competing in PPA Tour qualifiers, where he consistently earned spots in the main draw. Over the past year, he has competed in six PPA Challenger events, earning three gold medals, one silver, and one bronze as he continues to establish himself at the professional level.
