Jonathan Truong discovered pickleball in March 2020, playing casually with family before diving into competitive play in 2023. He entered his first PPA Pro Qualifier at San Clemente in 2024, making the main draw and later earning his first PPA main draw win at Daytona the same year. In March 2025, Truong signed with Joola, continued stacking PPA victories, and joined the Bay Area Breakers for MLP St. Louis.
