Jonny Andrews, widely recognized as "Jonny Pickleball," has always been drawn to competition, having grown up traveling and competing in basketball, baseball, and tennis. While pursuing his degree in Resort and Hospitality Management at Florida Gulf Coast University, he made a pivotal decision to join the United States Army during a time of war, serving as a Combat Arms Cavalry Scout stationed at Fort Benning, GA. Following several tours and deployments, he concluded his service and returned to Florida, where he discovered pickleball in 2015, igniting a newfound passion.
Driven by his love for the sport, Jonny embarked on a mission to revolutionize pickleball entertainment. He created the Jonny Pickleball Show, offering a fresh perspective on pickleball entertainment, and launched the Around the Post Show podcast, providing a platform for discussing all things pickleball without limitations. Alongside his endeavors in media, Jonny has showcased his prowess on the pickleball court, securing multiple professional medals and aiming to ascend the ranks on the pro tour.
As the voice of pickleball, Jonny's influence extends far and wide. He traverses the country, lending his expertise through camps, clinics, and professional commentary. Additionally, he competes on the Professional Tour, showcasing his skills and passion for the sport. More recently, Jonny has introduced the PPA Tour Pickleball Camps, further solidifying his commitment to growing and enhancing the pickleball community.
With his boundless enthusiasm and unwavering dedication, Jonny Andrews continues to leave an indelible mark on the world of pickleball, inspiring players and enthusiasts alike as he shares his love for the sport across the nation.
