Karolina Owczarek is a Polish professional pickleball player based in Germany and one of the top-ranked women in Europe. After more than 20 years of playing tennis, Owczarek transitioned to pickleball two and a half years ago and quickly established herself as a standout on the European circuit.

Her rise in pickleball began with an unconventional start. Unable to afford her first international tournament, Owczarek organized a fundraiser to make the trip—and went on to win the event. In 2025, she captured 17 gold medals on the European circuit, earned medals at the WPC in China, and finished as the overall leader and most-medaled player on the RTA, then the largest tour in Europe across both men’s and women’s competition. She also competed in the inaugural World Pickleball League season for the Hyderabad Superstars.

In 2026, Owczarek has continued to compete at the highest level, earning medals on the RTA and Pickle Pro Tour, as well as at WPC. She also represented Team Europe at the MLP Midseason Event and earned two bronze medals at the first PPA Tour event in Europe.
