Originally hailing from Germany, Martin Emmrich has found a new home in Bradenton, Florida, where he resides with his wife Tammy, also a prominent figure on the PPA Tour, and their daughter Gabriella. With a background steeped in professional tennis, Emmrich has represented Germany in the Davis Cup, showcasing his prowess as the country's top-ranked doubles player. Throughout his tennis career, he attained a remarkable doubles ranking of no. 35 on the ATP Tour and clinched an impressive 18 professional tennis titles.
Embracing a new sporting passion, Emmrich delved into pickleball during the latter half of 2022, influenced by his wife Tammy, who was drawn to the sport after witnessing it on television. What began as a casual pastime quickly evolved into a shared obsession for the couple, as they set their sights on ascending the ranks of the PPA Tour together. In his pickleball endeavors thus far, Emmrich has garnered four medals, including three golds, in both men's and mixed doubles competitions.
