Samantha was born and raised in Grapevine, Texas, where she grew up playing tennis. She competed collegiately at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith before transferring to the University of Texas at Dallas, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. During her tennis career, she was named Conference Freshman Player of the Year and became a two-time ITA All-American, reaching the 2021 NCAA National semifinals in doubles.

She discovered pickleball in September 2022 and began competing seriously by mid-2023. Still residing in Grapevine with her husband, Vaughn, Samantha brings a diverse athletic background to the sport. She practiced Tae Kwon Do for 12 years, earning a second-degree black belt.

Outside of pickleball, she enjoys lifting weights, cooking, baking, and playing video games.
