Sarah Ansboury is a professional pickleball player, coach, and educator who has been instrumental in developing the sport globally. A former USPTA tennis pro, she transitioned to pickleball in 2014 and quickly rose to prominence, winning national titles and becoming a leading voice in coach education.
She is the Managing Director of the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), the largest pickleball coach education provider in the world. Since launching PPR in 2018 and stepping into leadership in 2023, she has expanded its reach to over 14 countries and 10,000+ certified coaches. Her work blends elite playing experience with a deep commitment to education, standards, and international development.
Sarah turned pro in 2015 and quickly made her mark, winning gold and silver medals at the Tournament of Champions and USAPA Nationals. She earned five medals at the inaugural US Open Pickleball Championships, including gold in both women’s and mixed doubles. She currently competes on the PPA Tour and in Major League Pickleball, known for her strategic play, precision, and leadership on and off the court.
