Best dressed at the Selkirk Kansas City Open presented by Stratusphere Gin
DALLAS, TX – The second half of the PPA Tour season began with the Selkirk Kansas City Open presented by Stratusphere Gin, and the players certainly didn't disappoint fashion-wise.
As much as I love the team uniforms in MLP, I missed the best pickleball players on the planet showcasing their individual style.
Interestingly enough, the men are really stepping up their fashion game, and this marks the first time there are more guys than girls on a Pickleball.com Best Dressed List.
Without further ado, here are the best dressed players from the event:
Hayden tops the list with this clean gray, white, and black fit. It’s exactly what I love to see in men’s pro pickleball. Everything matches. Even his doubles partner, Christian Alshon, coordinated his look. Topped off with a gold chain, Hayden is looking fresh. Welcome to the list, Big H!
I love a monochromatic fit, and Christian delivers. It’s such an easy way to look put together without that much effort. Christian paired a navy blue shirt and shorts with white socks and a white hat for a classic ensemble.
I agree with Stack Athletics president Jeremey Neff when he said that “Tyler has never looked better since he started wearing Stack.” This brown is an unusual color for pro pickleball, but I love it. Paired with a black T-shirt and shoes, he just looks so fresh.
Hunter and Yates Johnson
The twins are twinning in a matching forest green shorts and shirt combo complete with matching white Wilson hats. Now, if only their shoes and socks matched, but maybe then we couldn’t tell them apart. Either way, impeccable color coordination.
Nothing makes me happier than seeing Callie back with her pretty braid that perfectly matches a color in her outfit. I’m obsessed with this sky blue and white skirt and tank top set. It’s a perfect outfit and I have no critiques. I want this exact outfit in my pickleball wardrobe now.
I love this baby pink color on Parris. Sporting an alo yoga matching tank top and skirt, she's right on trend and embracing her feminine flair. Complete with matching baby pink socks, I'm so satisfied with every little detail in her outfits.
Jorja's fit and flare black leggings paired with a high neck top gave me all the nostalgia from the early 2000s athleisure in the best possible way. The major standout, though, has got to be her hair. She wore it up in a bubble braid and added the cutest little white ribbon at the top. It was adorable.
