Chong Kim, Jaret Petras, Laura Maala and Geneva Olson played mixed doubles for 36 consecutive hours at Pickler Universe in Carrollton, TX to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest pickleball marathon rally ever.
The group surpassed the previous mark of 34 hours and 5 minutes set in the UK.
The record attempt was born from a tragedy that rocked the pickleball community in North Texas when a fellow player took their own life last year.
The Pickle Breakers' remarkable efforts raised over $18,000 for Taylor’s Gift Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides organ and tissue donor families with free grief support after the loss of their loved one.
