'The Masked Singer' judges dress up as pickleball players
Another day, another reality TV competition show where pickleball gets the spotlight. Between American Idol judges playing pickleball during auditions, to Hell’s Kitchen contestants hitting a pickleball into a barrel to decide what they’ll be pickling in the challenge – reality TV loves pickleball.
In the latest episode of The Masked Singer, the four judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Rita Ora, and Robin Thicke all dressed up as pickleball players while they attempted to uncover the mystery singers behind the mask.
Jeong sported a green and white striped pickleball sweat band and a headband. McCarthy would definitely make the Best Dressed list with a white collared v-neck top and put her hair up in big pig tails.
Ora embraced classic courtside chic with a white jacket, white and black bandana around her neck, and a white baseball hat. And Thick had on a gorgeous green velour tracksuit.
What I love about this is that they chose to specifically dress up as pickleball players. Instead of opting for generic “athletes” or choosing tennis, they went all-in with pickleball.
All we need now is a giant pickleball costume for one of the singers. Maybe even a pickleball pro behind the mask? Word on the street is Mary and Maggie Brascia love reality TV, let’s get those pros out there competing on the Masked Singer stage.
