Pickleballs are a great gift if you don’t know what to get your pickleball player friend. It’s a guarantee they’ll use them. If you want to invest, buy them the Life Time ball so they can play with the same balls the pros do. But you can never go wrong with a pack of Dura or Franklin for outdoor players, and Franklin for indoor players.
Paddles
Paddles can be tough if you don’t know their game style and they don’t already have a specific paddle on their wish list.
But if you’re looking to elevate their cheap Amazon paddle to something nicer, I highly recommend the Versix Vector Genie Bouchard pickleball paddle. Now on sale for under $100, it’s a classic choice to take things up a notch.
If you don’t know what kind of paddle is the right fit, I recommend a good old fashioned gift card. That way, you can contribute to the paddle of their dreams without the stress of picking out the wrong one.

It has an incredibly chill design that might be the best I’ve seen in MLP team merch this year. Talk about a perfect way to rep your MLP squad and look cool doing it.
Zyia
I’m going to make a bold statement that Zyia might have my favorite sweat set on the market. I absolutely live in my navy sweat pants, and paired with a matching hoodie, this is the coziest gift to have under the tree. They also have a ton of other apparel that will certainly catch your eye.
This brand has some of my favorite graphic tees in pickleball. They’re fun, playful, and have a retro flare that’s incredibly charming.
Erne has some of the softest fabric I’ve ever felt in my life, so whether you’re looking to gift a bra top, skort, t-shirt, or a jacket, Erne is the definition of a win.
Shoes
This is another reminder to quit playing around and buy a good pair of court shoes to protect yourself and decrease your chances of injury. If you or someone you know just refuses to invest in a proper pair of court kicks, let this Christmas be the time to give them (or yourself) a good pair.
K-Swiss shoes are my favorite brand right now. They’re a bit sturdier and have a lot more support in the ankle, so if you’re the kind of player that favors a more supportive feel, this is the shoe for you. There's also so many fun colors available.
These are great all-around shoes. They’re the official shoe of the PPA Tour and have great support and flexibility. Skechers are trusted by top pros like Tyson McGuffin and Catherine Parenteau.
These are a recent favorite of mine. I adore the aesthetic of these shoes, and I think they would be a great gift to pair with a matching outfit so the recipient can be the best dressed player on the court.
Miscellaneous
“In a Pickle” book
Do you know a couple that really struggles with playing pickleball together? Well, I think they need a copy of “In A Pickle: Master Love & Pickleball Without Killing Each Other.” This isn't just a pretty coffee table book, it’s also super insightful and genuinely full of great advice from licensed therapists and pickleball lovers. I highly recommend it.

Not only are you gifting a smooth bottle of alcohol, but it’s also going to take you right back to watching the St. Louis Shock reign supreme at the Edward Jones MLP Cup. This was my favorite pickleball sports romance novel of the year, and it's the perfect gift for the avid reader and hopeless romantic pickleball player in your life. It’s enemies to lovers, with a plot to save the charming country club. It’s a delightful read, and the cover is especially cute.

We can’t conclude the gift guide for pickleball lovers and not mention the gift of a memorable experience – PPA Tour or MLP tickets.
