How to Register for a Tournament on Pickleball.com
Registering for a tournament on Pickleball.com takes a few minutes. You'll need a player account, a linked payment method, and — if you're entering a doubles event — your partner's information. This article walks through the full registration process from start to finish.
Click the tournament name to open its listing page.
Click Register Now.
You'll be asked whether you want to register for an individual event, a team event, or both. Select your registration type.
Browse the available events. Select the event(s) you want to enter using the toggle switch next to each one.
Click Next.
Note
Events are filtered by your rating and age. If an event is grayed out, you don't meet the eligibility requirements. Contact the tournament director if you believe this is incorrect.
Event Tags You May See
As you browse events, you may see small tags on an event card. Here's what they mean:
Recommended: Pickleball.com automatically picks the level that fits your DUPR. Click Show more to see the other brackets you're eligible for.
Go on waitlist: The event is full. If you select it, you're added to the waitlist for that event.
You're on the waitlist: You've been added to the waitlist for this event. The toggle next to the event also reads On waitlist.
Preselected by (name): Another player chose you as their partner for this event, so the event is already selected for you. Review it, then click Next to continue.

Entering Partner Information (Doubles Events)
For doubles events, you'll need to enter your partner's information:
Enter your partner's first name, last name, and email address.
Click Find Partner. The system will locate their Pickleball.com account.
Confirm the correct person has been found, then click Next.
Note
Your partner must have a Pickleball.com account to be added. If they don't have one, they'll need to create a free account before you can complete registration.
Completing Registration
Review the event summary, including the event name, your partner (if applicable), and the total cost.
If you have a discount code, enter it now and click Apply before proceeding.
Read and sign the waiver. You must scroll to the bottom of the waiver before the signature field appears. Type your last name exactly as it appears on your profile.
Click Confirm & Pay.
Enter your payment details and complete checkout.
Note
You'll receive a confirmation email once registration is complete. Keep this email — it contains your registration details and a link back to the tournament.
Go to My Tournaments and find the tournament. If registration is still open, you can add events from the tournament listing page. If registration is closed, contact the tournament director directly using the Contact Tournament button on the tournament listing page.
How do I withdraw from a tournament after registering?
Go to My Tournaments, open the tournament, and look for the Withdraw option. Refund eligibility depends on the tournament's refund policy. See How to Request or Check the Status of a Tournament Refund for details.
Registration is closed — can I still register?
Registration closing dates are set by the tournament director. When registration is closed, the Register Now button will no longer be active. Contact the tournament director using the Contact Tournament button if you need to register after the deadline.
Does my partner need to register separately?
Each player registers and pays individually. Your partner will receive an email notification after you complete registration. They do not need to take any additional action unless the tournament requires both partners to confirm separately.
Why can't I see certain events during registration?
Events are filtered by the rating and age requirements set by the tournament director. Click Show more to reveal the other brackets you're eligible for. If you believe you've been incorrectly filtered out, contact the tournament director using the Contact Tournament button on the tournament listing page.
