Best dressed at the CIBC Texas Open presented by Fasenra
The fashion choices on the PPA Tour this season only get better and better with every tournament stop.
In the Lone Star State, we saw bubble hems, tie dye, and springtime yellow fits that continue to elevate pickleball’s fashion game.
Earning a spot on the Best Dressed List is only getting more and more competitive, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
Without further ado, here are the best dressed players from the CIBC Texas Open presented by Fasenra.
I gasped when I saw this fit from Jorja because it's just so fun. She wore a long sleeve white and blue tie dye top that is simply gorgeous. But the standout piece is that bubble skirt from WISKII Active. Bubble skirts are all the rage off the court, and I love to see how Jorja is keeping it stylish on the court too. Obsessed.
Alex and Angie Walker
The Walker sisters love to twin when they play doubles together, and this little black dress is a new favorite look of mine. With a scoop neckline, open back, and drop waist silhouette, the dress is extremely on-trend with the latest spring trends off the court. I also love the asymmetrical white band along the waist and pleated skirt. The sisters are always dressed to impress.

Callie Smith and Etta Tuionetoa
Callie and Etta expertly coordinated their women’s doubles outfits throughout their tournament run. Their looks featured bold red skirts and sleek all-black sets, but their navy tennis dresses were the standouts for me. Smith’s razor back dress is from Halara, and Tuionetoa’s is JOOLA. Navy is so easy on the eyes, and I like how they both topped off their looks with white shoes and white hats. Simply adorable.
This outfit from Helena is just classic racket club chic. A high neck tank top in sky blue, pleated white skirt, white visor, and white shoes, it’s a look that never goes out of style. And it’s easily replicated with all the items you likely already have in your closet. Topped off with color coordinating white and blue sunglasses, it’s a superior fit.
Jorja and JW Johnson
The Johnsons are another set of siblings that knows how to match on the court. Jorja and JW sported matching black and white acid tie dye tops from Stack Athletics that they paired with their favorite white bottoms. Unfortunately, Stack doesn’t have this style in stock, but with how much the crowd loved their looks, I think we can beg the company to make more. These looks were simply serving.
Back-to-back singles champion and making the Best Dressed List? Christian must be leveling up his game. Clad in an electric blue Mizuno polo and black shorts, Christian looks fresh and clean. Paired with black sweatbands, shoes, and a black Paddletek hat with a blue logo, he proves that if you keep it simple, you always look good. Bonus points for the silver chain accessory too.
Hurricane Tyra Black and Parris Todd
Tyra and Parris know the way to my heart. Wear matching butter yellow alo sets and I’m sold. You’re on the list! The women’s dubs champions not only won gold, but they looked chic doing it. Nevertheless, the girls still maintained their individuality - Todd with her matching scrunchie and gold accessories, and Black with her layered bra top and pearl necklace. They looked fabulous.
Salome knows how to add a little extra flare to her looks, and I love that about her court fashion. From Halara, the clear standout is the tiered skirt. It’s so flowy and flattering, and it photographs absolutely beautifully on the court. Paired with a sleek black tank top, her look is classically cute.
Honorable Mention:
PPA Tour employees Liv Borski and Ireland Horvat
We love to see when PPA Tour employees get a chance to take off their staff badges, pick up a paddle, and compete in a tournament. Borski and Horvat played women’s 4.0 wearing matching emerald green tennis dresses from 11NIL. Simply too cute.
