Best dressed at the Veolia North Carolina Open
The Veolia North Carolina Open served up some major looks.
From cheetah print to vibrant pink florals, the pattern fashion game was top notch.
And since we have to wait over a month before our next PPA tournament, the pros definitely left us with some good fits to talk about.
Without further ado, here are the best dressed players from the event.

This baby pink little floral dress from Target athletic wear line, JoyLab, is absolutely adorable. It’s the perfect color pallet for spring time, and wonderfully functional with the high slit. Paired with Nike court shoes that feature a pop of hot pink, this look is just joyful.

This is a very cool look for Mary. Wearing a high neck mesh tennis dress from Lucky in Love, the navy is so flattering on her and the mesh skirt adds an exciting twist on what would otherwise be a classic tennis dress. Paired with Ria eyewear and sleek white accessories, including a white hat and white court shoes, Brascia showed up in style.
Alex and Angie Walker
I adore when the sisters partner up and wear matching outfits because it truly makes them look like twins. These square neck cheetah print tennis dresses come from Target’s athleisure line, JoyLab, and they simply look fierce. Cheetah print is a unique pattern on the court, so I love to see how the Walkers are willing to get a little bold. Topped off with matching shoes, I adore this look on the girls.
Ava opted for a bright bold cherry red, and this is absolutely her color. The red is so vibrant and photographs beautifully. From Abercombie’s athletic wear line, Your Personal Best, Ignatowich rocked their bubble hem tennis dress and the tie front tennis dress both in that vibrant red. Way to make a statement on the court! I love it.
Tyra Hurricane Black and Jorja Johnson
When two fashion girlies pair up together, you know they’re going to be dressed for success. I particularly adore these lavender looks from this partnership. Johnson wore a bodice dress from 11NIL, and Black wore a purple-to-pink ombre tennis dress from Wilson that is simply stunning. And just look at how Johnson braided her hair. It’s just too cool. Since they won gold together, it proves that if you look good, you play even better.
Hayden has a go-to clean look whenever he hits the court, and this look is classic Patriquin. Decked in a neutral color palette, he wore an off-white Franklin T-shirt, navy shorts, white Nike court shoes and high socks, and his usual gold chain. But he was very on-trend with his upside down hat from the Picklr. Very cool.
Aanik kept it sleek in North Carolina, wearing a JOOLA black polo paired with an earthy green short. Bonus points because his black JOOLA paddle with green accents on the edge matches the overall look. Welcome to the best dressed list, Aanik!
I love when Parris debuts a new look from alo, especially when it’s one as exciting and unique as this. Donning a gorgeous color called smoky quartz, the standout piece is the bustier top that is so flattering and a unique style for the pickleball court. Paired with a matching pleated tennis skirt, the overall look is just adorable.
