Best dressed at the Vizzy Atlanta Open
DALLAS, TX – Now that all the hardware has been handed out, it's time to take a closer look at the fashion hits from the Vizzy Atlanta Open.
The competition was fierce, but there were some clear standouts at one of the biggest tournaments of the season on the PPA Tour.
Here are the players who caught my attention at Life Time Peachtree Corners:
Jack leads the pack in this effortlessly cool fit. I’m a sucker for a retro striped look on the pickleball court. And this look by ellesse is definitely working for me. It’s simple, it’s clean, and it features the matching hat to top it all off. Well done, young man!
Genie loves to rock a New Balance fit, and this seafoam green tennis dress with navy and green detailing is incredibly cute. It’s retro, flattering, and styled perfectly with a navy visor, navy high socks, and a VERSIX paddle.
Layne, meanwhile, found an excellent top and skirt to coordinate with her women's doubles partner. It’s a pretty unique color choice on their part, so that’s a win for getting creative and trying something different in the fashion department.
Parris doesn't just play like a star, she absolutely looks like one, too! She wore a pink ensemble every day of the tournament - and pink is absolutely her color. This Alo yoga dress is the standout look, thanks to the addition of the scrunchie that’s half hot pink and half baby pink. I want that scrunchie. And I love that dress.
Maggie Brascia and Julian Arnold
Julian usually makes the list alongside his girlfriend and mixed doubles partner, Lauren Stratman, but he joined forces with Maggie this time around. And the pair impressed fashion-wise with a lavender purple and white color pallet. They looked chic.
Maggie sported a purple top and fitted white skirt, while Julian wore a white T-shirt and purple shorts. They even coordinated their white shoes and white hats.
We’ve got a new color for Meghan. Even though she generally sticks to a simple black and white pallet, with the occasional blue Acrytech top, Dizon introduced an army green fitted tank top to her tournament look in Atlanta and paired it with a classic white Nike skirt. Topped off with her Proton paddle and a white hat, she looked sharp.
This is a bit of a new look for the No. 2 player in women’s singles and doubles. Catherine arrived on court in a sky blue lululemon top that’s far more interesting than a simple tank top. I like the asymmetrical straps, and the color is just gorgeous. Her skirt is also different. She usually opts for something fitted, but this time, she went with a white flowy skirt. It's a welcome change for the gold medalist in gender doubles.
Callie is another frequent member of the Best Dressed List, but I can't let this hot pink dress go unpraised because it’s such a flattering cut with the V-neck and the slit on the side. It's both functional and fashionable. And the color – I just love it. Hot pink is truly anyone’s color, and paired with the classic ribbon in her hair, it’s just superb.
Who made your best dressed list at the Vizzy Atlanta Open? There were so many iconic looks, so it was truly hard to narrow it down.
