Pickle green is the trendiest color this summer, and I think that’s all thanks to pickleball.
Duh.
According to Pinterest’s 2025 Summer Trend Report, “the color of the season is Dill Green. Users are searching for this earthy, vintage-inspired hue for all things fashion.”
Dill green outfits, aesthetics, and inspo are dominating summer search trends on Pinterest. But one thing I’ve noticed is that when there’s a fashion trend that’s popular in streetwear, it’ll soon be trendy in athleisure as well. Dill green is no exception.
InStyle also noted that dill green hues have been a hot color on the red carpet this past year. Think about Taylor Swift's sequin green dress at the Golden Globes. And Venus Williams' Met Gala green avant garde look. Fashion is going all-in on green.
Dill green is a top trending color this season. And you mean to tell me that’s purely a coincidence alongside pickleball’s popularity? I think not.
Pickle green is the perfect color for the summer because it’s fresh, clean, and looks absolutely incredible when styled with white. And with so many gorgeous shades of green to choose from, green can easily be incorporated into your pickleball wardrobe.
Here are some of my favorite dill green moments from the pro pickleball court.
Dill green is Jorja Johnson’s color. And matching with Parris Todd? These two are dressed to kill.
Parris Todd and Tyra Hurricane Black may have referred to themselves as celery, but it’s giving light green pickles if you ask me.
MLP's Florida Smash went all in on green when they debuted new uniforms and merch for their team.
Leave it to Genie Bouchard to incorporate the trendy green off the court as well.
But don’t worry, she also rocked green for the first half of the season in New Balance fits that truly popped on the court.
But green isn’t just for the girls. Hunter Johnson pulled off this clean green look in Mesa.
Ben Johns also rocked this green look from JOOLA. If the G.O.A.T. is wearing dill green, we all should be wearing dill green.
Anna Leigh Waters also coordinated some green looks with Johns for their mixed doubles matches.
But green doesn’t end at the pros. In fact, I’m seeing every shade of green at my local court. From rich emeralds to soft leafy green, green is dominating court fashion.
Here are some pickleball fashion brands who love green as much as we do.
11NIL has been on the dill green trend since the beginning of summer, and these dresses have undoubtedly been the most popular outfits at tournaments.
Alo, another athleisure trendsetting brand, has been focusing on green for court fashion this summer as well.
Vuori is capturing a gorgeous shade of green in their latest launch for men’s and women’s styles.
Stack athletics also launched a green set with their spring/summer 2025 collection.
Wilson has been churning out some stellar green looks for their summer collection, taking inspiration from Wimbledon. And I want literally everything from this collection in my pickleball wardrobe.
