The Kitchen has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser on behalf of Thomas Wilson.

Wilson has been sidelined from playing professional pickleball due to serious illness.

Donations will support his fight for health and recovery.

"For years, Thomas has been a bright light on the court — his energy, smile, and fierce competitiveness made him one of the sport’s most beloved pros," explained the GoFundMe page. "But behind the highlight reels and championships, Thomas has faced a much tougher battle: serious heart issues followed by a rare autoimmune and neuromuscular condition that forced him to step away from the game he loves."

Wilson has openly discussed his battle and the trials and tribulations involved along the way.

He most recently appeared on the Pickleballers podcast to share his story.

"Thomas has undergone surgeries, endured frightening health scares, and faced the emotional toll of leaving behind his professional career," explained the GoFundMe page. "For a man whose life has been built around movement, competition, and community, the journey has been incredibly difficult."

The pickleball community is stepping up to help Thomas and his family.

Every donation, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated.

"Despite these challenges, Thomas continues to inspire those around him with his faith, positivity, and determination. Now, he needs our support more than ever. Thomas and his wife Brittany are real-life angels having adopted two little girls and volunteering as Prayer Warriors when they first started dating."
