Best dressed at the Veolia Sacramento Open
DALLAS, TX – Style on the pro pickleball court is one of the things I most look forward to from the pros at every tournament. In Sacramento, the pros competed in some of their best looks to date.
Here are the best dressed pros from the Veolia Sacramento Open.

In identical outfits first seen in their awkward 90s photoshoot, Bright and Rohrabacher rocked matching sky blue lululemon tennis skirts and tank tops. The color is gorgeous and a classic fit and flare silhouette is so flattering on both these girls. If Rohrabacher opted for a baseball hat instead of a visor, these two are practically twinning on the pro court with their brown braided hair.
Black is a regular on the best dressed list and every time she steps out on the court, it’s clear why. In this emerald green Wilson dress, Black looked stellar. The mesh back detailing is not only a cute surprise in the back, but it’s got to be quite practical for breathability.
But Black doesn’t just wear a dress – she styles it. Black added pops of white to her look – a white visor, white shoes, even when she styled her hair into bubble braids she even used white elastics and a white ribbon. Every outfit detail is accounted for and it shows.
Parenteau has started wearing these cool tie dye tank tops to elevate her look and you know what? I like them. Last week at the CIBC Texas Open in women’s singles she wore a similar style in a camo green color, but I love this purple on her. Purple is definitely her color and I love how she paired it with a simple white skirt, white hat, and her perfectly matched lavender Skechers.
Waters always looks like a champion in that turquoise blue color. And in Sacramento, she sported the same FILA tennis dress with a scalloped hemline that she wore when winning that monumental 100th PPA title trophy.
“The North Carolina win was super special and I wore this blue dress there, so I had to wear it again because I was hoping some good luck will come over to have the chance to win a triple crown,” said Waters. Clearly, the dress worked because she won another triple crown in Sacramento.
We’ve got another new face on the best dressed list. Bellamy looked sleek in this black and white striped shirt paired simply with white shorts, white shoes, and a black hat. Bellamy is proving with this look that it’s all about having one staple element in your pickleball look, then keeping it simple with the rest of the look to let the staple piece shine. Welcome to the list, Bellamy.
That’s a wrap on the best dressed. Although, I’m sensing that some of the pro men are stepping up their fashion game and I couldn’t be happier about it.
