Chefs bounce back, force decider in Challenger final
The Nashville Chefs evened the Challenger level championship series with a 3-1 victory over the Las Vegas Night Owls in Sunday’s first match in Central Park.
This was a must-win for Nashville after dropping the first match of the series on Saturday, and a 2-0 performance from Genie Erokhina helped the Chefs keep their championship hopes alive.

After dropping both of her games on Saturday, Erokhina locked up wins in women’s doubles alongside Ewa Radzikowska and mixed doubles with Anderson Scarpa to help the Chefs secure the regulation triumph.
This result sets up a winner-take-all duel for Sunday afternoon. The victors will capture the Challenger level crown and earn promotion to the Premier level in 2026.
“This is what we’ve worked all year for,” said Anderson Scarpa after the win. “We still have a lot of work to do against a great team in Las Vegas, but we’re a great team also, so we’re going to give it our all for one last time this season.”
Match 3 of the series will take place after the second match of the Premier level championship series between the New Jersey 5s and Columbus Sliders.
