Dallas defeats Orlando, primed for showdown with Texas
The Dallas Flash (5-0, 15 points) made easy work of the Orlando Squeeze (9-4, 25 points) at MLP Austin on Saturday with a 3-1 regulation victory on Championship Court.
It was the first of three Premier Level matches on the day at Austin Pickle Ranch.
The highlight of the contest was Jorja Johnson's walk-off Erne in mixed doubles against Federico Staksrud and Lacy Schneemann that put Dallas ahead for good.

Talk about a thing of beauty.
"That's my favorite shot of hers. She does it so gracefully, like a ballerina out there. I love it," praised Johnson's Flash teammate, Tyra Black. "Julie Johnson's been working on Ernes with us, and it's one of my favorite shots now, and Jorja's is insane. I absolutely love it."
Dallas couldn't have asked for a better warmup ahead of their Lone Star State showdown against the Texas Ranchers at 4:30 pm CT on Pickleballtv.
"I'm just ready to play. It's going to be super fun, really electric," said Black. "I'm sure we're going to have a great crowd out there, so I just can't wait to get out there again."
"The rivalry is going to deepen. It's going to be a dogfight with all four lines, and potentially the fifth line, Dreambreaker, so we'll see what happens," added Flash standout, Augie Ge. "We're looking forward to it."
