Here’s who qualified for the Toys "R" Us PPA Finals

Fresh off of a memorable Slam event in Atlanta, the PPA Tour players and crew will now travel across the country all the way out to San Clemente, CA for the Toys "R" Us PPA Finals.

The Finals is a unique, invite-only event that is reserved for the top-performing players in each discipline and follows a pool play format instead of a traditional bracket. There will also be a PPA 500 event running concurrently in San Clemente via the traditional format for players who did not qualify (see draws here).

Only players inside the top 8 (singles, mixed doubles) or top 16 (gender doubles) in the Race rankings qualified to play in this week’s event. The Race rankings take into account the total number of standings points earned in a player's best 16 tournaments since the 2025 Atlanta Pickleball Championships, which took place last May.

The doubles pairings and pools will be released shortly, but for now, here’s a look at who will be in action in Southern California.

Women’s Singles

  1. 1. Kate Fahey
  2. 2. Kaitlyn Christian
  3. 3. Brooke Buckner
  4. 4. Lea Jansen
  5. 5. Catherine Parenteau
  6. 6. Zoey Wang
  7. 7. Judit Castillo
  8. 8. Liz Truluck
  9.

NOTE: Anna Leigh Waters is notably missing from this list. The 19-year-old, who comfortably held the top seed, will only compete in doubles events in San Clemente after a grueling Triple Crown performance in Atlanta. This means that Liz Truluck will move up to the final spot after finishing ninth in the rankings.

Women’s Doubles

  1. 1. Anna Leigh Waters
  2. 2. Anna Bright (tied with Waters for 1st)
  3. 3. Hurricane Tyra Black
  4. 4. Jorja Johnson
  5. 5. Parris Todd
  6. 6. Catherine Parenteau
  7. 7. Rachel Rohrabacher
  8. 8. Jade Kawamoto
  9. 9. Tina Pisnik
  10. 10. Lacy Schneemann
  11. 11. Meghan Dizon
  12. 12. Kate Fahey
  13. 13. Zoey Wang
  14. 14. Kaitlyn Christian
  15. 15. Alix Truong
  16. 16. Jamie Wei
  17.

NOTE: Jackie Kawamoto qualified in the No. 10 slot but will not compete in San Clemente. Mari Humberg was next up to replace her, but she will miss the event with an injury, so Jamie Wei will fill the final spot after finishing 18th in the rankings.

Women’s Mixed Doubles

  1. 1. Anna Leigh Waters
  2. 2. Anna Bright
  3. 3. Jorja Johnson
  4. 4. Hurricane Tyra Black
  5. 5. Catherine Parenteau
  6. 6. Jessie Irvine
  7. 7. Rachel Rohrabacher
  8. 8. Tina Pisnik
  9.

NOTE: The race for the final spot came down to the wire, as Rohrabacher overtook both Tina Pisnik and Parris Todd at the last moment by capturing bronze in Atlanta. Pisnik and Todd actually have the same number of points, but Pisnik wins the tiebreaker (and the final qualifying position) because she has accumulated more points across the four Slam events. This isn’t surprising considering that Todd missed the 2026 PPA Masters as a result of her prior suspension.
