MLP announces match schedule for next event in Salt Lake City
DALLAS, TX - The match schedule has been released for the next Major League Pickleball regular season event set to run July 25-28 in Salt Lake City, UT.
14 of MLP’s 22 teams—10 Premier and 4 Challenger—will play 36 matches over the course of the four-day event.

This will serve as a homestand for the Utah Black Diamonds, who will be looking to capture their first win of the year in front of local support.
The Black Diamonds—featuring Jay Devilliers in addition to Utah-based players Tyler Loong, Callie Smith, and Alix Truong—will play six matches during the competition.
Unlike last week at the MLP Mid-Season Tournament in Grand Rapids, MI, there won’t be any money up for grabs in Salt Lake.
This event, and all remaining MLP events up until postseason play begins in November, will return to the normal regular season format where teams earn a certain number of standings points dependent on their match results. Each contest is an opportunity to earn more points and move into a top-six position in the standings to make the playoffs.
Play begins next Thursday, July 25, at noon MDT, with the Orlando Squeeze facing off against the Columbus Sliders.
You can find the full schedule of play, as well as where to catch all the action, here.
