
MLP Columbus: Group standings after Day 1
The first day of MLP Columbus is in the books, so let’s take a look at the group standings after Thursday's matches.
As a reminder, the top 4 teams in each group will have a chance to compete for standings points on Super Sunday.
Here is a breakdown of how Sunday's matches will work and how many standings points will be up for grabs:
- Group A #1 v. Group B #1: Winner receives 25 standings points; loser gets 18
- Group A #2 v. Group B #2: Winner receives 15 standings points; loser gets 12
- Group A #3 v. Group B #3: Winner receives 10 standings points; loser gets 8
- Group A #4 v. Group B #4: Winner receives 6 standings points; loser gets 4
- 5th place teams receive 1 standings point each; 6th place team receives 0.

- 2. New Jersey 5s (1-0)
- 3. Columbus Sliders (1-0)
- 4. Miami Pickleball Club (0-1)
- 5. Chicago Slice (0-1)
- 6. California Black Bears (0-1)
Group B
- 1. Las Vegas Night Owls (1-0)
- 2. Palm Beach Royals (1-0)
- 3. St. Louis Shock (0-0)
- 4. Carolina Hogs (0-1)
- 5. Florida Smash (0-1)
Group play from the second regular season event continues Friday at 9:30am CT, with live coverage available on Pickleballtv.
