New York sports legends David Tyree, John Wallace hit the court in Central Park
Major League Pickleball, in collaboration with Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), hosted a pro-am pickleball competition for the second consecutive year this past Friday in conjunction with the MLP Finals at the iconic Wollman Rink in Central Park.
New York Giants legend David Tyree and New York Knicks legend John Wallace went head-to-head with pros Eric Forsythe and Roscoe Bellamy in a men's doubles match.
The contest featured two games played to 25 points using rally scoring, with a tiebreaker if necessary.
Since 2023, Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) - one of MLP’s first and founding partners - has proudly served as the Official Hospital offering players access to world-class sports medicine physicians and physical therapists at every tournament. HSS continues to support player health both on and off the court throughout the season.
