Powerball joins PPA State Championship Series as title sponsor
The PPA Tour announced Monday that Powerball will be the official title sponsor of the Pickleball State Championship Series.
The Powerball Pickleball State Championship Series will feature 55 tournaments across all 50 states as amateur players compete for the highly coveted title of ‘State Champion.’
Players who earn that title will automatically qualify for the ‘State Champion’ brackets of the Pickleball World Championships, which will be held in early November.
“This partnership with Powerball manifests critical investment in elemental pickleball across America and is a milestone for local, amateur pickleball in every state,” said PPA Tour founder and CEO Connor Pardoe. “This sport is built on a strong foundation of community, grassroots play and the Powerball Pickleball State Championship series is central in keeping true to that spirit.”
With this partnership, the Championship Court at the 2026 Pickleball World Championships will also be known as 'Powerball Championship Court.'
“For more than three decades, Powerball has inspired people to dream big and imagine what’s possible,” said Powerball Product Group Chair and Iowa Lottery CEO Matt Strawn. “Throughout the Powerball Pickleball State Championship Series, we’re proud to bring that same spirit of opportunity to athletes across the country—giving them a chance to chase their own championship dreams.”
