Waters cruises past Wang for women’s singles title, fourth straight Triple Crown
Anna Leigh Waters closed out the weekend’s action in the Sunshine State with a dominant 11-3, 11-1 victory over No. 8 seed Chao Yi (Zoey) Wang to secure the women’s singles title and her 39th career Triple Crown on the PPA Tour.

This result also gives Waters her fourth straight Triple Crown, which is a feat she hasn’t accomplished since the 2023-2024 season.
She spoke with Pickleballtv’s Ireland Horvat about what it means to earn this achievement as the fields in every event become deeper and deeper.
“I’m just proud of myself because it’s been since 2023 that I’ve gotten four in a row, so that just means I’m improving, which is awesome because everybody’s getting better every week,” she said. “I’m going to keep working as hard as I can to do that, but the competition’s getting better and better, so days like these are getting tougher and tougher.”
In the bronze medal match, No. 5 seed Lea Jansen defeated No. 4 seed Brooke Buckner by an 11-2, 11-2 score line.
