Will Howells set to return to action in Utah
After missing four tournaments and nearly two months of competition due to an injury, Will Howells is set to make his return to the PPA Tour this week at the Greater Zion Cup at Black Desert Resort.
The 27-year-old suffered what he referred to on social media a “Grade 2 deltoid ligament sprain with a bad bone bruise” during a singles match at the Pickleball Central Indoor National Championships back in January, an ailment that has derailed the early part of first year competing on the PPA Tour.
Recovering from injury is such a great reminder to be grateful and never take anything for granted. Super excited to be back on the court and playing in Utah! @PPAtour

After a ten-week hiatus, Howells is primed to take the court once again this week in Utah, where he will play men’s doubles with his New Jersey 5s teammate Noe Khlif and mixed doubles with Meghan Dizon, his former 5s teammate.
Howells’ return to action is one of several intriguing storylines to follow in the Beehive State.
