If you somehow successfully avoided social media over the last 32 hours, you might have missed the annual Spotify Wrapped that is flooding everyone’s Instagram stories.

And while I don’t really care about a former classmate’s musical preferences, I do have a genuine interest in what the pros are listening to these days.

Music can tell us a lot about a person, so let’s examine Anna Bright’s Spotify Wrapped:

Bright’s top artists were:

The top three tells us that she loves girly pop music, and it’s no secret she adores Taylor Swift. Then, Lord Huron is an earthy, folky artist that she probably listens to during her impressive hikes. And mgk has this 90s nostalgic sound to his music that likely takes her back to her childhood.

Overall, I think we can trust Bright with the aux.

Another pro who posted her Spotify Wrapped was Hurricane Tyra Black.

We can’t ignore that she’s an Apple Music listener, though, so her stats are going to be a bit different. 

Black’s top artists of 2025 were:

This is a pretty solid lineup, too. It’s no surprise to see Tate McRae at the top of her list because she went to her concert with Alix Truong a few months ago. Black loves to keep up with the new albums from her favorite artists, and favors the kind of music with the most addictive beats.

Black’s top song was “I’m The Problem” by Morgan Wallen, and Wallen makes more appearances on her Top 10 with “Love Somebody” and “Just In Case” from his latest album. I never would’ve thought Black had an affinity for a country tune, but she does play for the Dallas Flash and shared a picture in a cowboy hat. She was in her cowboy era this year. 

The final pro who posted their Spotify Wrapped was Meghan Dizon.

Dizon can carpool with Bright and play mgk, and carpool with Black and play Morgan Wallen, as both of those artists made an appearance on her Top 5.

Dizon has a fun mix of country, pop, rap, and rock. She's truly a well-rounded listener. Like Black, her top song was also “I’m The Problem,” but she also had Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga’s “Die With a Smile” among her favorites. Dizon likes a little country, loves a trending audio, and listened to a grand total 32,453 minutes of music. I wonder if she trains and listens to “luther” by Kendrick Lamar and SZA. 

If we learned anything from these Spotify Wrapped posts, it's that we need the DJ on the PPA Tour to play more Morgan Wallen and throw in some Tate McRae.
