Pros travel the globe during break in PPA Tour schedule
Professional pickleball may not have the long offseason that other sports do, but the holidays still bring a welcome lull.
It’s a rare chance for the pros to kick back, relax, and enjoy time with friends and family — or even jet off for some world travel.
Dylan Frazier said he took some "Pickleball PTO to hop on a cruise and hang out with family for a few days." Frazier, along with his mom, dad, and sister, headed to Cozumel, Mexico, where they snorkeled, fed stingrays, and even tried a fish pedicure, an experience he says he definitely won’t be repeating.
Anna Leigh Waters and her family jetted off to Italy, touring some of the country’s most iconic cities and landmarks. They explored Florence, Venice, Vatican City, and Rome, savoring delicious pizzas and pastas along the way. Their trip also included visits to famous sites like the Trevi Fountain and Michelangelo’s David.
And of course, the fabulous Waters women couldn’t leave Italy without stopping by Chanel to pick out a special keepsake.
Waters' new Bernedoodle puppy, Archer, was obviously overjoyed when the family finally arrived back home.

Hannah Blatt and Grayson Goldin enjoyed a staycation at the Four Seasons in Palm Beach, FL, where they hit the driving range, took a cooking class, and soaked up some much-needed R&R.
While Mary and Maggie Brascia’s family usually spends the holidays at "The Happiest Place on Earth," the sisters switched things up this year with a trip to Las Vegas—joined by their younger sister, Molly, and their significant others.
They went ice skating at the Fontainebleau, hit Topgolf, enjoyed date nights with their boyfriends, and took in the over-the-top holiday decorations that only Vegas can deliver.
Arguably the most well-traveled pro player, Camila Zilveti, spent her break in Nicaragua, where she, her mom, and her brother went sandboarding down a volcano. Zilveti is steadily checking more adventures off her bucket list.
Ben Johns stopped by the JOOLA store in Maryland for its grand opening, taking part in the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.
Parris Todd spent time catching up with friends across the country, including a trip to South Florida to see Kamaryn Blackwood, her friend and Pickleballtv broadcaster. While there, Todd even played pickleball on an inflatable court at The Boca Raton Hotel.
Genie Bouchard has been keeping busy with a series of adventures. She kicked off her travels in November in New York City, then headed to Miami Beach, where she enjoyed some time on a boat with friends. After that, she flew to Boston to speak at Boston Children’s Hospital’s Game Changers event.
Bouchard is constantly on the move.
Dekel Bar headed to Costa Rica with Pickleball Getaways to explore, teach, and, of course, play plenty of pickleball.
Tyson McGuffin and his wife, Meg, enjoyed a romantic escape to Costa Rica, where they relaxed, explored, and savored incredible local cuisine that might just make you want to book a trip yourself.
They stayed at the Hotel Makanda by the Sea, an adults-only luxury beachfront retreat that felt like a peaceful slice of paradise far from their home in Idaho.
The Florida Dairy Farmers Daytona Beach Open, which starts Tuesday, December 16 in Holly Hill, FL, marks the final PPA tournament in 2025.
