The pups of pickleball
Pickleball's finest athletes spend a lot of time on the road for tournaments, clinics and promotional opportunities.
Needless to say, coming home to their favorite pups is always a special treat.
Here's a closer look at some of the coolest dogs that belong to your favorite pros.
Get ready for some cuteness!
Starting off the list we have to look at David’s beloved golden retriever, Nala.
This is just the cutest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.
This sentimental post might make you cry because it’s just so tender.
Jansen has two gorgeous dogs, and I honestly can’t stop gushing.
This is just the cutest little family photo on a stoop. Adorable.
Devidze is another animal lover on tour, and she has one of the fluffiest dogs around.
Lucky is clearly the perfect companion for this pro.
Blatt has an adorable French bulldog named Arlo, who often frequents the Florida tournaments.
And just look at that face.
Of course Arlo needs to join Blatt on all her pickleball adventures. He's simply too cute.
French bulldogs are among the more popular breeds among the pros, and Joseph’s Frenchie named Kobe is just amazing.
Check out the throwback photo he posted for Kobe’s birthday. The pup even had his own birthday cake and an LA Lakers jersey, too. That’s just incredible!
Koop has a gorgeous little brown Australian Shepherd named Daisy.
I needed to share this photo. It’s cuteness overload.
Daisy recently got a new sibling when Koop adopted a pug named Java.
Java even got a photo with a Paddletek. It’s a pickleball pug!
Navratil rescued his first dog named Murray. And after they took a DNA test, they discovered Murray was part collie, pug, American Eskimo dog, and pit bull terrier.
It’s like 23andMe, but for dogs! That is beyond cool.
A few years later, the Navratils rescued another dog and named her Arlo.
It’s a funny coincidence we have two pro pickleball dogs named Arlo, and both are equally adorable.
We can’t talk about pro pickleball dogs and not mention sweet Hazel.
The pickleball sideline reporter adopted the little rescue dog, who is Johns’ regular travel companion.
Hazel may be one of the most well-traveled pups on this list.
And with those big ears and sweet eyes, how could you not take this puppy anywhere and everywhere you go?
Maverick is another famous pup on tour.
Always next to his momma, Maverick is often spotted in the broadcast booth alongside the Emmy-winning sportscaster.
He also can be seen getting lots of belly rubs from volunteers, spectators, and PPA staff.
