Best dressed at the Black Desert Resort Red Rock Open
Breaking news! Neon yellow is the new "it" color on the court.
Perhaps it all started with the eye-catching New Balance fits that Genie Bouchard has been sporting this season, but neon yellow popular among the players in Utah.
It's safe to say that pro pickleball fashion is only getting bolder.
Here are the best dressed players from the Black Desert Resort Red Rock Open:
Garnett was one of the pros to embrace red in honor of the Red Rocks. When he arrived in Utah wearing a bold red short from Zyia, I instantly made the connection. Red photographs beautifully on the court, and paired with a simple black tee, black shoes, white socks and Garnett’s black Twoey Nation hat, it’s a classic and clean look.

Parenteau is another athlete with a favorite silhouette on the court - fitted skirts and high neck tank tops - so you can spot her easily. But she added a little extra flare in Utah with a cheetah print pattern top. The real tragedy is that I couldn't really find something similar online. All the other athleisure cheetah print on the market is brighter and includes black. Where did you find this fabulous little top, Catherine? We all want to look as good as you when we play.
Schaefer loves to play dress up with her outfits, and this emerald green is absolutely stunning. The color is extremely on trend this spring and the fitted cut is gorgeous. The skirt and bra top are as flattering as they are functional for pickleball.
We’ve got a new adidas fit from Staksrud, and this switch is a welcome surprise. This black adidas T-shirt has added texture, and paired with sleek black shorts and a pop of neon yellow briefs, the Argentinian star just looks cool and perfectly on trend. I can’t wait for him to unveil more top-tier looks from the athleisure brand.
Whenever Bouchard debuts a new look, we’ve all got to pay attention. After jumpstarting the neon yellow trend, I think we need to see if light blue and white is going to be a dominating color combo in the summer. New Balance just looks good on her. I adore the white collared tank with accents of turquoise and the navy blue and matching turquoise accents in the skirt. Bouchard just looks sharp. Topped off with navy and light yellow shoes, this definitely works.
I have two words for you: Helena. Jansen. Not only did she become the first Triple Crown winner in the PPA Challenger Series, she also landed a spot on the Best Dressed List. Her bright yellow fit for singles - that looks similar to this skirt from Wilson - was vibrant and fun. She also wore a little black tennis dress alongside her women’s dubs partner Pierina Imparato that deserves a nod. Jansen is one to watch in pickleball and fashion alike.
Parris Todd and Dekel Bar
We must acknowledge the perfectly clean navy looks from the mixed doubles champions. Todd and Bar wore coordinating fits, but what elevates their looks is the accessorizing and how every little addition to each of their outfits matches in a white or navy blue color palette. Todd wore an alo dress and Bar wore a JOOLA polo and shorts. Topped off with navy hats, white socks and navy and white shoes, these two just nailed it fashion-wise.
Honorable Mention:
Dylan Frazier and Dekel Bar made a statement when they showed up in matching “The Big D’s” shirts to warm up before matches. We love fashion with a sense of humor.
