Esquivel to replace injured Harris for Chicago
In a last-second move ahead of their semifinal matchup against the Atlanta Bouncers, the Chicago Slice are bringing in alternate Michelle Esquivel to fill in for the injured Allison Harris.

Esquivel is currently a member of the New Zealand Hustle in MLP Australia and competed for the California Black Bears during the Mid-Season Tournament back in July.
This is the second roster modification the Slice have had to make ahead of this weekend’s season-ending playoffs; they’re also bringing in Wyatt Stone to fill in for the injured Brendon Long.
Stone and Esquivel will join forces with Jack Munro and Megan Fudge and look to help Chicago—who finished the regular season atop the Challenger level standings—bring home the title.
In the semifinals, they will take on an Atlanta squad that is also short-handed without its first-round pick in Jaume Martinez Vich (replaced by Anderson Scarpa).
Action starts at 4 pm. EST on Pickleballtv and the MLP YouTube.
