Flash dominate DreamBreaker, beat 5s to remain undefeated

The Dallas Flash (8-0, 22 points) earned a 3-2 victory over the New Jersey 5s (7-2, 20 points) on Sunday at MLP Austin courtesy of a dominant performance in the DreamBreaker.

The defending MLP champions posted a 21-11 scoreline in the decisive stanza to defeat last year's runner-ups on Championship Court.

The Flash remain unbeaten this season, thanks in large part to the outstanding play of Jorja Johnson, who went head-to-head with 5s superstar Anna Leigh Waters in the DreamBreaker and came up clutch again when it mattered most.

"Regardless of who I'm playing, I'm just trying to stick to my game and just focus on me. Obviously, she's the best. I was just looking to be aggressive and try my best for my team," said Johnson. "Thankfully, it went my way this time."

The 18-year-old has been remarkable in MLP action thus far this year.

She boasts a 15-1 record and won 76.58% of points.

"Maybe it was the MLP win, you know, a new level confidence, and knowing I get to do it beside all these great people," mentioned Johnson. "Not only the four starters, but also our two bench players (Ivan Jakovljevic and Tatiana Ruhl), who have been great all weekend. We're super happy to have them out there. Thank you to all the friends and family who came out to watch."

It marked the second straight day that Dallas earned a DreamBreaker triumph after beating Texas on Saturday.
