PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA – No. 3 seeded James Ignatowich and Anna Bright took home the victory against the 9 seeded Rachel Rohrabacher and Federico Staksrud in a swift two game match.
The final score was 11-5, 11-7.
“We’re playing really well and hopefully we can kind of ride our momentum until tomorrow,” shared Bright.
At the match point, Ignatowich let out a victorious cry.
“They were a tough team, they’re both great competitors. And I was mostly glad it was over because I was getting a little tired and I was kind of a little afraid when they starting coming back,” said Ignatowich.
“What’s most important is getting better every day mastering the process and the more comfortable you feel with your routine, the more confidence you have on the court,” added Ignatowich.
Bright and Ignatowich are heading back to championship Sunday where they will play for the gold against the winner of Waters, Johns and Johnson, Johnson.
