Orlando Squeeze name Ashley Turner president
MLP’s Orlando Squeeze announced on Wednesday the appointment of Ashley Turner as team president.
Turner will oversee the Squeeze’s business operations, strategic partnerships, and community engagement efforts, while working closely with ownership, league leadership, and team stakeholders to elevate the organization both on and off the court.
“Ashley brings the rare combination of strategic leadership, operational excellence, and relationship-building that defines successful modern sports organizations,” said Orlando Squeeze owner and general manager Ryan DeVos. “As we continue to grow our presence in Central Florida and across Major League Pickleball, her leadership will be instrumental in shaping the next chapter for the Squeeze.”
Turner brings decades of experience in hospitality and activation efforts across Central Florida, currently serving as general manager of Hamlin House, a Florida-inspired sport and social club launched by Squeeze co-owners Ryan and Michelle DeVos.
“I’m honored to join the Orlando Squeeze at such an exciting moment for the team and for Major League Pickleball,” said Turner, who previously served as director of external affairs and partnerships for the DeVos Sport Business Management Graduate Program at UCF and also led premium activation efforts for the Orlando Magic. “The Squeeze represent everything that makes this league special – elite competition, passionate fans, and a genuine opportunity to build something lasting in Orlando. I’m excited to work alongside this organization to continue raising the bar.”
Turner will lead the Squeeze into the 2026 MLP season, which kicks off in Dallas from May 22-25 – finalizing the team’s roster through the upcoming February transfer and keeper window, concluding with the Free Agency Draft on Feb. 27.
