The best fan-made signs from MLP
As Major League Pickleball’s season winds down, there’s one thing I already know I’ll miss: the fans. The energy they bring to every MLP event is on another level. From start to finish, they make the atmosphere feel electric.
And then there are the signs. Some of the homemade posters fans have shown off on Pickleballtv have genuinely made me laugh out loud. So, here’s a look at some of the best fan signs we’ve seen throughout the season.
Pickleball Bromance
The signs inspired by Hayden Patriquin and Gabe Tardio might be the best of the bunch. From a hilarious Step Brothers-style poster featuring their faces to a “pickleball bromance” creation, this duo clearly sparked some next-level creativity from fans. That bromance sign, paired with a clever net cord poster nearby, feels like true works of art. They’re not just funny—they’re visually impressive, thoughtfully designed, and executed to perfection. Bonus points for the attention to detail.
Kate Fahey’s “OUUUT!”
At MLP St. Louis, one fan made it clear where his loyalty lies—with Fahey. While she’s drawn both praise and criticism for her on-court intensity, this sign fully embraced her fiery style of play. Love it or not, her passion is part of what makes her stand out—and let’s be honest, her emphatic “Out!” call has become pretty iconic.
Artistic Anna Leigh Waters and Jorja Johnson
These drawings belong in a pickleball museum—they’re that stunning. Just look at the detail! With fans like this courtside, how could Waters and Johnson not bring their best?
Cason Campbell Soup
At MLP St. Pete, one fan showed up loud and proud for his hometown Florida Smash. The fan section even went “tarps off”—shirts off, waving them in the air like rally towels. Add in a clever pun featuring his favorite pro, and this sign was an absolute hit.
What Paddle is That?
That fan in the background is asking the real question: what paddle is that? It’s hilarious because it’s so relatable. You’re watching your favorite pro and can’t help but wonder what they’re playing with. Practical and funny—this one scores.
CJ the Slim Reaper
This one cracks me up—CJ Klinger’s game is so lethal, he probably does feel like the grim reaper out there, taking down opponents one by one. This MLP Columbus sign is a top-tier pun.
Gone Fishing
Rachel Rohrabacher’s fiancé, Bobby Edwards, is one of MLP’s loudest fans. And his getup for MLP St. Pete was a highlight. He dressed up like a fisherman, and even brought a fishing pole with a picture of Zane Navratil dangling like a fish. I appreciate how fully Edwards committed to the bit.
Mad Drop it like it’s Hot
I’m always here for a good music reference, and this LA Mad Drops sign at MLP San Diego—“Drop It Like It’s Hot”—got me. It’s so silly in the best way. I didn’t even realize that song worked as a pickleball pun, and now it’s going to be stuck in my head all day.
At MLP Orlando, the fan section showed off some serious artistic talent. One crafted a stunning geometric MLP design, while another recreated the New Jersey Fives’ Raisin Bran collab logo. Safe to say, the creativity courtside was next level.
Literal Jade Kawamoto
At MLP Newport Beach, one fan gave Kawamoto’s name a glow-up with a dazzling jade crystal-style font. Clean, creative, and seriously eye-catching—an awesome touch for the LA Mad Drops fan section.
There are so many amazing signs and costumes people wore to MLP throughout the season. From the Palm Beach Royals fans dressing up like kings and queens, to all the clowns with the New Jersey 5s, the fans have certainly had a whole lot of fun supporting their MLP teams.
