Toray MLP Playoffs - Newport Beach: Everything you need to know
The quarterfinals of the MLP Playoffs runs Friday, August 14 through Sunday, August 16 at the Newport Beach Tennis and Pickleball Club in Newport Beach, CA.
The event features the league’s top 4 seeds - No. 1 New Jersey, No. 2 St. Louis, No. 3 Los Angeles, and No. 4 Columbus - and the winners from last week’s opening round in Dallas - No. 5 Brooklyn, No. 6 Dallas, No. 7 Palm Beach, and No. 8 Texas.
Each match-up is a best-of-three match series. The top seeds selected their opponent, beginning with the highest seed playing in the current round (opponent had to come from the pool of Rd. 1 winners). A match will be over at three games to none; a fourth game will not be played in that instance.
