
Wang among bronze-medal winners in Utah, earns second straight podium finish in singles
Eleventh-seeded Zoey Wang headlined the list of bronze-medal winners at The Picklr Utah Open on Sunday.
It marked the second consecutive women's singles bronze for Wang, who defeated sixth-seeded Judit Castillo 11-6, 11-4 at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

The 22-year-old's road to another podium finish on the PPA Tour included victories over Hannah Blatt, fifth-seeded Cass Hoag, and second-seeded Mary Brascia.
The men's singles bronze was claimed by No. 27 Hunter Johnson, who handed No. 14 Rafa Hewett an 11-3, 11-4 loss in a match that lasted just 20 minutes and 45 seconds.
Johnson's path to bronze included triumphs over No. 4 Dylan Frazier, No. 19 Eric Roddy and No. 5 Chris Haworth.
Second-seeded Meghan Dizon and Etta Wright secured bronze in women's doubles with a 5-11, 11-4, 11-5 victory over fourth-seeded Jackie Kawamoto and Lucy Kovalova.
Sixth-seeded Augie Ge and Federico Staksrud earned bronze in men's doubles by defeating fifth-seeded Hayden Patriquin and Pablo Tellez 11-8, 11-3.
No. 23 seeds Mary Brascia and Jaume Martinez Vich claimed bronze in mixed doubles by downing No. 22 seeds Mari Humberg and Pablo Tellez 8-11, 11-8, 12-10.
