World’s first smart pickleball game launched by MetaShot

MetaShot, the Bengaluru-based sports-tech startup known for blending physical sports movements with immersive virtual gameplay, has partnered with development company Yudiz Solutions to launch the world’s first smart pickleball game for its motion gaming console.

Developed exclusively for the MetaShot ecosystem, the smart pickleball experience combines real-world gameplay mechanics with connected digital interactions, expanding the platform’s portfolio beyond cricket-based gaming.

The smart pickleball title is scheduled to launch in the United States during the third quarter of the 2026 fiscal year, followed by an India rollout.

MetaShot also revealed that the launch is part of a larger platform strategy that includes future collaborations with gaming studios, additional sports-based titles, and a developer funding programme aimed at accelerating innovation within its ecosystem.

Commenting on the partnership, Chirag Leuva, CEO of Yudiz Solutions, said that pickleball represents the first step in what could become a larger portfolio of interactive sports experiences developed on the MetaShot platform.

The launch aligns with the rapid rise of pickleball worldwide. Industry estimates suggest that the sport now has over 50 million players globally, while the pickleball market is expected to grow from $2.2 billion in 2024 to $9.1 billion by 2034.

In India, participation in the sport has reportedly surged nearly 300% over the past three years, accompanied by a sharp increase in court infrastructure across the country.
