Sofia Sewing signed with Major League Pickleball. 

Mary Brascia celebrated her one-year anniversary with her boyfriend, Zack. 

Ahead of the Super Bowl, Anna Leigh Waters attended the NFL Honors where she walked the red carpet wearing Oscar de la Renta, and met fellow pro athletes, influencers, and even country singer, Kane Brown.

The PPA Tour debuted a scoreboard for all streamed courts.

Genie Bouchard went on The OK Sweetie Show. Kate Fahey appeared on The Shore Thing Podcast. And Greg Dow, Andre Agassi, and Leigh Waters were guests on the Pickleballers podcast.

The PPA Tour stopped in the Sunshine State for the Zimmer Biomet Cape Coral Open. 

Layne Sleeth and Alix Truong celebrated Galentine’s Day. And pro pickleball couples celebrated Valentine’s Day, including Jorja Johnson and Jonathan Truong, and Marcela Hones and Rafa Hewett. 

Ben Johns and Anna Leigh Waters won mixed doubles. Ben Johns and Gabe Tardio won men’s doubles. Kaitlyn Christian claimed gold in women’s singles. Federico Staksrud won another gold in men’s singles. And Anna Leigh Waters and Anna Bright secured the victory in women’s dubs.  

The best dressed players from the tournament included Adam Harvey, Gio Morelli, and Kiora Kunimoto. 

After the tournament, CJ Klinger played putt-putt golf. 

The PPA Tour signed a bunch of new pros, including Luca Mack, Alexa Schull, Sahra Dennehy, Isabella Dunlap, and many others. 

Hannah Blatt and Grayson Goldin got engaged. 

The PPA Challenger Series tested out their new singles lines.  

Kitchen Blockers, the lens free eye protection brand, released a slim fit style. 

The PPA Tour headed to Mesa, Arizona for the Carvana Mesa Cup. 

Widely regarded as pro pickleball’s most eligible bachelorette, Anna Bright revealed that she has a dating application form for potential suitors to complete.

Ben Johns returned to men’s singles and won silver. 

Lingwei Kong and Zoey Wang celebrated Chinese New Year with fellow pros.

Matthew Barlow went on an impressive run in men’s singles by defeating Roscoe Bellamy and top-seeded Hunter Johnson. 

Chris Haworth won gold in men’s singles. Anna Leigh Waters snagged another title in women’s singles. Ben Johns and Gabe Tardio won men’s doubles. And in the biggest upset of the tournament, Anna Bright and Hayden Patriquin won mixed doubles in three games against Ben Johns and Anna Leigh Waters.  

The best dressed players at the Carvana Mesa Cup included Alex Walker, Eric Oncins, and Camila Zilveti.

The PPA Tour announced stops in Canada and Italy next season. 

Tennis legend Nick Kyrgios played pickleball with his new Vulcan signature paddle. 

During the MLP Draft, the St. Louis Shock bought back Anna Bright for a record-breaking $1.23 million. And in another shocker, Jorja Johnson, was selected second overall by the New Jersey Fives.

JOOLA dropped their new Pro Vs. 

Anna Leigh Waters, Leigh Waters, and Hannah Blatt participated in a pickleball exhibition with proceeds going to Alzheimer’s Community Care to support families affected by Alzheimer’s disease in South Florida. 

Anna Leigh Waters visited Universal Orlando. 

Anna Bright went on a 3-day, 62-mile hike with her sister, Cindy.
