DUPR announced a dedicated wheelchair pickleball rating system to expand inclusive competition.

Ben Johns nearly got hit by a rogue golf ball in the middle of a match. 

Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns avenged their loss from the previous tournament and won gold in mixed. Waters and Anna Bright won gold in women’s doubles. Johns and Gabe Tardio continued their dominance in men’s doubles and won gold. And Hunter Johnson snagged another title in men’s singles. 

Eric Oncins earned the number four spot in the SportsCenter Top 10 with this behind the back winner.

The best dressed players included Rachel Rohrabacher, Parris Todd, and Leigh Waters.

Genie Bouchard went on Tennis Channel for the Indian Wells tournament.

Pickleball Central was named the official retail partner of DUPR.

The PPA Tour stopped in Texas for the Veolia Texas Open and it became one of the windiest tournaments in recent history. But despite the Texas weather, Anna Leigh Waters won women’s singles. Federico Staksrud won men’s singles. Ben Johns and Gabe Tardio won men’s doubles. Anna Bright and Anna Leigh won women’s doubles. And Anna Leigh Waters and Ben Johns won gold in mixed doubles.  

The best dressed players included Kaitlyn Christian, Alix Truong, and Hannah Blatt. 

The Emmrich family visited the Zyia HQ. 

Camila Zilveti hit a bunch of nasty nelsons on the pro court. 

Reality TV contestants on Netflix’s “Age of Attraction” played pickleball on the show. 

Tyson McGuffin continued to add to his insane collection and finished the tattoos on his lower body. He even got tattoos of his signature pickleball paddles and Selkirk shoes. 

Tammy and Martin Emmrich adopted a puppy and named her Luna.

USA TODAY named Pickleball Central among America’s most trusted brands. 

Jay Devilliers went skiing with his family in Vail, Colorado. 

The pros headed to Utah for the Greater Zion Cup at Black Desert Resort.

While there, many of the athletes went hiking and explored the nearby national parks. Notably, Anna Bright hiked the narrows in Zion National Park. 

After competing, the pros went golfing and Hunter Johnson nearly made a hole in one. Some of the pros also recreated the iconic High School Musical “Bet on It” scene. 

Mary and Maggie Brascia and the team at Fun Pickleball also recreate some of their favorite scenes from High School Musical 2.

JOOLA launched new pickleball shoes. 

Longtime tennis coach of Serena Williams, Patrick Mouratoglou, said tennis is in serious trouble.  

The UPA implemented new line calling technology.
