Best dressed at the Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships
There was a lot of anticipation around the Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships, between the dramatic partnership splits in women’s doubles, and it being a grand slam – the tournament was gearing up to be a memorable one before it even started.
And luckily for us, the fashion was just as memorable as Ben Johns' uncharacteristically ethusiastic celebration following his victory in men's singles.
Without further ado, here’s the best dressed list from the Veolia Atlanta Pickleball Championships.

It’s always an exciting day when Waters debuts a new kit from Fila. In Atlanta, Waters wore a few different variations of a burgundy and orange fit from Fila that’s not yet on the market, but I’m counting down the days until it launches. The color combo is striking and so flattering on Waters, and I love the side slit with the pleats in orange. Such a fun twist on the classic tennis skirt design.

Ever since Tellez started wearing Lotto, his fits are just so interesting. His fashion stands out so positively on the pro pickleball court because they’re different compared to the usual polos and t-shirts on the men's side. This painterly tie-dye set in gorgeous blue is just a winner.

Alhouni stepped out on center court for men’s singles and he just looked clean. Wearing a matching light blue set with white high socks and white Nike court shoes, Alhouni’s look is a textbook example if you want to look effortlessly cool. Keep it simple by picking one color for the top and bottom, then accessorize with neutrals, and you’ll look sharp.

Khlif brought some pattern to the court with this new polo from JOOLA and paired it with a coordinating light green short. The pattern is subtle, but still visually interesting. And by styling the look with neon yellow shoes – it makes quite the bold statement on the pro court.
McMillan loves to wear unique pieces from Lucky in Love and this tie-dye white and blue skirt is a stand out piece. It’s so summery and fun, I want to go play pickleball by the beach in a fit like this. And because the skirt truly does all the talking, McMillan kept it simple and paired the skirt with a sleek white tank and red visor.

Bouchard debuted a new kit from New Balance and this is so neutral compared to Bouchard’s recent neons and bright blues she’s been wearing. But this is such a welcome change. Though this outfit isn’t available on New Balance’s site yet, I can only believe it’s going to be a hit because the retro pleats with the white stripes on the bottom of the skirt is so retro I also love the lavender and white court shoes that she paired with ruffle high socks. So dainty and girly.

Parenteau experimented with a new silhouette and I love to see this from her. Parenteau has a go-to outfit for tournaments: fitted high neck tank top and fitted skirt with a baseball hat and her hair in a bun. We know a Parenteau outfit when we see one.
But this tournament, she wore a little pink tennis dress and I love this little change. The hot pink is stunning on Parenteau and the fit is just so flattering. I hope to see Parenteau continue to experiment with her court style.
Blatt arrived in Atlanta with a new fit from PB5star and it’s just adorable. The pleated mint skirt is so flattering and it also has a fun little slit. And paired with razer back white tank top with her name on the back, it’s very sporty and feminine. And the peachy pink court shoes, just adorable.

I don't know if it was Kawamoto's intentions to match her outfit to her Proton paddle but I'm celebrating like she did. Kawamoto kept things simple but cool with her fitted black ensemble, then dressed up her look with bright pink and blue Adidas court shoes. Just look how the colors in her outfit match her paddle. I love it.
Newly signed pickleball pro, Giltinan nominated herself for the best dressed list and I of course had to oblige. Wearing a gorgeous crystal blue outfit from alo, the color is so flattering on her and I love the sporty white detailing on the neckline and skirt. Styled with a sleek black and white visor matching black and white shoes, Giltinan looks so put together. I hope this is the first of many superior looks from Giltinan.
Frazier brought some fine art to the pro pickleball court thanks to the new collection from Volair that features Keith Haring’s artwork. The fits all weekend were bright, bold, and colorful and really brought some creativity which I loved to see.
And an honorable mention to Frazier and Dekel Bar’s Big D’s shirts – I wouldn’t call it high fashion but it does make me laugh.
