The Florida Dairy Farmers Daytona Beach Open continues Friday with the men’s and women’s doubles competition, which will be played through the quarterfinal rounds.

Now, let’s get into what to watch for.
- The top three seeds in the women’s doubles draw are all first-time partnerships on the PPA Tour: Anna Leigh Waters/Jorja Johnson, Catherine Parenteau/Tyra Black, and Rachel Rohrabacher/Etta Tuionetoa. This is a one-off tournament for each of these partnerships, with Waters still set to play with Anna Bright in 2026 and Parenteau set to partner with Rohrabacher going forward. Water will be looking to make a statement in doubles, since this is the only event that she’s playing in Daytona.
- In men’s doubles, Andrei Daescu/Gabe Tardio will play together for the first time since 2024. Their 2024 campaign yielded two titles with four total medals, and they will reunite as the top seeds on Friday. Federico Staksrud/Christian Alshon are also teaming up for the first time since March. They have taken silver in both tournaments they have played together and will be looking to do one better this week.
- Also look out for No. 6 seeds Dekel Bar/Pablo Tellez. They made the final of this tournament last year, where they fell to champions Andrei Daescu/CJ Klinger. They will be looking to make another deep run this week to close out the year and could face off against CJ Klinger/Jaume Martinez Vich in what would be a must-watch quarterfinal matchup.
Live broadcast coverage from Pictona begins at 11am ET on Pickleballtv.
