With Parris Todd's 11-3, 8-11, 11-4 victory over Jorja Johnson to close out Wednesday's action at Cary Tennis Park, the singles lineup is set for Semifinal Saturday.

Here are the matchups:

Men's Singles

Women's Singles

5:35pm EDT: Ford downs Martinez Vich in three games to reach semis

Zane Ford claimed the final spot in the men’s singles semifinals with an 11-8, 5-11, 11-5 victory over No. 5 seed Jaume Martinez Vich.

A late run helped the No. 17 seed secure the triumph, as Ford scored the match’s final six points to advance after players were tied at 5-5 in the deciding game.

The 20-year-old spoke about the importance of self-belief in tight matches like Wednesday’s.

“All these guys are so good, and Jaume, especially, is a great player. You’ve just got to go out and trust yourself and try to do the best that you can,” he mentioned. “It’s been a long day, and I’m just happy to get through it with some wins.”

Ford will face No. 10 seed Roscoe Bellamy on Saturday, as he attempts to make his first final of 2025.

4:45pm EDT: Jansen battles past Bouchard in three games to make semis

Lea Jansen advanced to her fourth straight semifinal in women’s singles with an 11-0, 11-13, 11-2 victory over No. 13 seed Genie Bouchard.

Jansen had a 7-3 lead in the second game and even had a match point, but Bouchard eventually forced a decider.

That didn’t deter Jansen, however, as she made Game 2 a distant memory and dominated Game 3 to secure the win.

This week’s tournament is the second event of a back-to-back, as most players—including Jansen—were also in action last week in St. George, Utah.

The No. 5 seed spoke about the difficulty of playing back-to-backs, especially when the tour stops are nearly 2,300 miles apart.

“I just kind of wanted to make do today, but we’re all pretty much in the same boat,” she said. “This back-to-back is pretty tough, especially with one less day. You just kind of have to swing through it and hope the weekend goes better.”

Jansen will have a chance to compete this weekend when she faces either No. 6 seed Parris Todd or No. 14 seed Jorja Johnson on Semifinal Saturday.

3:55pm EDT: Bellamy outduels H. Johnson in three games to make semis

Roscoe Bellamy booked his spot in the men's singles semifinals with an 11-2, 5-11, 11-5 victory over No. 2 seed Hunter Johnson.

It looked like the big-serving Bellamy would cruise to a straight-game win when he got out to a 4-0 lead in the second game after comfortably taking the first, but Johnson used a run of his own to force a decider.

In Game 3, however, Bellamy's serve and expert use of his length to extend rallies proved to be the difference-maker, as he marched into his first semifinal appearance of the 2025 season.

He will face either No. 5 seed Jaume Martinez Vich or No. 17 seed Zane Ford on Semifinal Saturday.

3:40pm EDT: Quarterfinals set in women's singles

Here are the four women's singles quarterfinal matchups:

3:05pm EDT: Buckner avenges Cape Coral defeat, downs H. Jansen in three games

Brooke Buckner defeated No. 16 seed Helena Jansen 11-9, 5-11, 11-5 to advance to the women's singles quarterfinals.

Jansen had won their most previous matchup last month in Cape Coral, but Buckner turned the tide on Wednesday and used a 7-0 run at the beginning of Game 3 to eventually close out the victory.

She will play either No. 8 seed Salome Devidze or No. 17 seed Liz Truluck next with a spot in the semifinals on the line.

2:35pm EDT: Johnson, Rane survive upset bids with three-game victoties

Jorja Johnson and Milan Rane are through to the women's singles quarterfinals after three-game victories early Wednesday afternoon.

Johnson advanced with an 8-11, 11-2, 11-9 victory over No. 36 seed Shea Donahue. She trailed 3-7 in the deciding game but went on to score eight of the match's final ten points to secure the hard-earned triumph.

A few minutes later, Rane sealed a similarly taxing 2-11, 12-10, 11-1 victory over No. 39 seed Jessica Haywood. After overcoming a 5-10 deficit in the second game and saving a match point, she cruised to a comfortable win in Game 3 to advance.

1:55pm EDT: Quarterfinals set in men's singles

Here are the four men's singles quarterfinal matchups:

1:15pm EDT: Buckner survives upset bid from Geut in three games

Brooke Buckner won her first match of the day in women's singles, but she sure had to work for it.

She defeated No. 35 seed Elina Geut 9-11, 11-2, 11-7 to advance and overcame a 2-5 deficit in the third game to do so.

Score card showing Brooke Buckner's 9-11, 11-2, 11-7 victory over Elina Geut.

She will face No. 16 seed Helena Jansen—who she fell to last month in Cape Coral—in the Round of 16.

12:55pm EDT: Tardio outlasts Garnett in three games

Gabe Tardio is into the men's singles quarterfinals after an 11-2, 1-11, 12-10 victory over No. 3 Connor Garnett.

After players split the opening two games by nearly identical score lines, Garnett jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the decider.

But Tardio fought his way back into it and earned match point at 10-8 before eventually closing out the encounter a few minutes later.

He will face No. 20 seed Aanik Lohani next with a spot in the semifinals on the line.

11:45am EDT: Freeman avenges Texas loss, downs Sock in straight games

Max Freeman booked his spot in the men's singles Round of 16 with a 12-10, 11-8 victory over No. 8 seed Jack Sock.

Sock won this matchup when they two faced off in Texas a few weeks ago, but Freeman got his revenge in Wednesday's first match on Humana Championship Court.

The lefty will face either Roscoe Bellamy or Eric Roddy next.

11:40am EDT: Schaefer withdraws from women's singles

Dominique Schaefer is the latest player to pull out of Wednesday's singles competition.

This means that No. 21 seed Milan Rane automatically advances to the Round of 16.

11:25am EDT: Bieger battles past Oncins to reach Round of 16

David Bieger is leaving his mark on the Tar Heel State and is into the final 16 after an 11-6, 12-10 victory over No. 43 seed Eric Oncins.

Oncins had a chance to send the contest to Game 3 with game point in the second, but Bieger held his nerve and eventually got the job done in two games.

The No. 54 seed will next face No. 5 seed Jaume Martinez Vich with a spot in the quarterfinals on the line.

10:45am EDT: Lohani surges past J. Johnson in straight games

Aanik Lohani is into the men's singles Round of 16 after an 11-8, 11-3 victory over No. 9 seed JW Johnson.

No. 38 seed Spencer Smith—who advanced after Quang Duong withdrew Wednesday morning—awaits Lohani in the next round.

10:20am EDT: Staksrud overcomes slow start against Stone to advance

Trailing 3-9 in his opening game against Wyatt Stone, Federico Staksrud appeared to be in some trouble in his first match of the day at Cary Tennis Park.

But the top seed went on to score 19 of the match's final 20 points to secure an 11-9, 11-1 victory and advance to the Round of 16.

He will next face either Jhonnatan Medina Alvarez or Donald Young.

9:50am EDT: Medina Alvarez outlasts Hewett in three games

Jhonnatan Medina Alvarez into the men's singles Round of 32 after an 11-5, 1-11, 11-9 victory over No. 15 seed Rafa Hewett.

Score card showing Jhonnatan Medina Alvarez's 11-5, 1-11, 11-9 victory over Rafa Hewett.

Even though the No. 49 seed came through Tuesday's qualifying draw, he is no stranger to success on the singles court.

Medina Alvarez made a run to the quarterfinals at this very event in 2024, earning wins over Tyler Loong, Jack Sock, and Jaume Martinez Vich along the way.

He'll look to have another memorable run this year as he prepares to face No. 19 seed Donald Young in the next round.

Notable withdrawals

Several players have withdrwan from this week's singles competition, including Ben Johns, Anna Leigh Waters, Catherine Parenteau, Kaitlyn Christian, Quang Duong, Gabe Joseph (all events), Travis Rettenmaier, AJ Koller, and Tam Trinh.

On Tuesday evening, Waters posted the reasoning behind her withdrawal on social media:
