Collin Johns/James Ignatowich are into the men's doubles quarterfinals in Atlanta after a 3-11, 11-2, 11-9 victory over No. 11 seeds Quang Duong/Hunter Johnson.
After teams split the first two games by nearly identical score lines, the No. 6 seeds jumped out to a 4-1 lead in the decider.
Duong/Johnson, to their credit, used an 8-1 run to build a 9-5 advantage, but Johns/Ignatowich went on to score the final six points of the contest to escape with a win after just under an hour on court.

They will face No. 4 seeds Dekel Bar/Dylan Frazier on Friday with a spot in the semifinals on the line.

Kate Fahey/Tina Pisnik are into the final eight of the women's doubles draw after an 11-6, 6-11, 11-8 victory over No. 7 seeds Lea Jansen/Lucy Kovalova.
After teams split the first two games by identical score lines, the No. 9 seeds built 8-3 lead in the decider and used that advantage to eventually close out the match.
Pisnik was especially impressive on the left side down the stretch, as she effectively varied the placement of her forehand attacks off the bounce at the kitchen line.
She and Fahey will face No. 4 seeds Jorja Johnson/Jade Kawamoto in Friday's quarterfinal round.
4:40pm ET: Strong Game 3 helps Bar, Frazier power past Freeman, Fu
Dekel Bar/Dylan Frazier are into the men's doubles quarterfinals after an 11-8, 3-11, 11-1 victory over No. 23 seeds Max Freeman/Ryan Fu.

Freeman/Fu pulled off an upset victory over Zane Navratil/Roscoe Bellamy in three games on Wednesday, but Bar/Frazier made sure that didn't happen two days in a row.
They scored the final eleven points of the contest to advance and will face either James Ignatowich/Collin Johns or Quang Duong/Hunter Johnson on Friday.
4:30pm ET: Withdrawal from Sleeth, Koop sends Waters, Bright to quarters
Anna Leigh Waters/Anna Bright received a free ride to the women's doubles quarterfinals after No. 13 seeds Layne Sleeth/Andrea Koop withdrew from competition ahead of their Round of 16 match.
The reason for the withdrawal was a hip injury for Koop.
Waters/Bright will face either No. 5 seeds Callie Smith/Allyce Jones or No. 10 seeds Etta Tuionetoa/Vivienne David on Friday.
3:25pm ET: Mixed doubles quarterfinal matchups set

Tina Pisnik/Andrei Daescu came through a battle against No. 6 seeds Tyra Black/James Ignatowich with an 11-9, 4-11, 11-8 victory.
In a match between two evenly matched teams that lasted well over an hour, Daescu proved to be the X-factor.
He came alive in the deciding game and effectively used all of his six-foot-four-inch frame to control rallies at the kitchen line.
Pisnik/Daescu will face No. 13 seeds Jade Kawamoto/Dylan Frazier on Friday.
2:25pm ET: Jd. Kawamoto, Frazier oust Parenteau, Staksrud in straight games
Jade Kawamoto/Dylan Frazier are into the mixed doubles quarterfinals after an 11-7, 11-7 victory over No. 3 seeds Catherine Parenteau/Federico Staksrud.
It was a matchup that pit MLP teammates against each other; Frazier and Staksrud are teammates on the Orlando Squeeze, while Parenteau and Kawamoto are teammates on the LA Mad Drops.
Frazier/Kawamoto--the No. 13 seeds this week--will face either Tina Pisnik/Andrei Daescu or Tyra Black/James Ignatowich on Friday with a spot in the semifinals on the line.

- No. 2 Hunter Johnson vs. No. 6 Quang Duong
- No. 4 Ben Johns v. No. 7 Christian Alshon
1:25pm ET: H. Johnson avenges North Carolina defeat, downs Bellamy in three games
Hunter Johnson defeated No. 13 seed Roscoe Bellamy by an 11-9, 9-11, 11-3 score line to advance to the men's singles quarterfinals.
Johnson fell to Bellamy in three games last month in April but was able to get revenge for that result in the Georgia capital.

He will face No. 6 seed Quang Duong—who is also his MLP teammate on the LA Mad Drops—on Friday.

11:50am ET: Johns outlasts Alhouni in three-game epic
Ben Johns defeated No. 21 seed Mohaned Alhouni by a 12-10, 9-11, 11-7 score line in one of most entertaining matches of the week so far at Life Time Peachtree Corners.
Competitors gave fans highlight after highlight, as Johns' trademark trademark precision and Alhouni's length as a lefty created entertaining cat-and-mouse rallies at the kitchen line.
After players split the first two games, Johns earned an 7-4 lead in the decider and used that advantage to eventually close out the contest a few minutes later after over an hour on court.
He will face No. 7 seed Christian Alshon in the quarterfinals.
11:40am ET: Truluck overcomes early injury to defeat Devidze
Liz Truluck is into the women’s singles quarterfinals after a 7-11, 11-4, 11-5 victory over No. 8 seed Salome Devidze.
The No. 19 seed was forced to take a lengthy medical timeout at 4-6 in the opening game after suffering a lower body injury, but she was able to recover and eventually secure a comeback win.

This is Truluck's third three-game victory of the week after doing the same against Meghan Dizon on Tuesday and Dominique Schaefer on Wednesday.
She will face either Parris Todd or Helena Jansen in the quarterfinals.
11:35am ET: Devilliers continues run, surges past Tardio in straight games
Jay Devilliers continued his strong singles showing in the Georgia capital on Thursday morning with an 11-9, 11-3 victory over No. 11 seed Gabe Tardio.
The No. 35 seed was fresh off a three-game triumph over No. 5 seed Jaume Martinez Vich in the Round of 32, and it looks like he certainly carried that momentum with him into the next round.
Devilliers will face either No. 3 seed Connor Garnett or No. 16 seed Pablo Tellez on Friday.
11:15am ET: Alshon dominates Harvey to make quarters
After playing a three-game epic on Wednesday, Christian Alshon made quick work of his men's singles opponent on Thursday, defeating No. 22 seed Adam Harvey 11-0, 11-3 in just over half an hour.
The No. 7 seed put on a master class in kitchen line coverage, as he effectively anticipated Harvey's passing shots and used his six-foot-two frame to stick his volleys.
Alshon will face either Ben Johns or Mohaned Alhouni in Friday's quarterfinal round.
10:50am ET: Jansen outlasts Di Laura in three games
Lea Jansen is into the women's singles quarterfinals in Atlanta after a 10-12, 11-4, 11-1 victory over No. 44 seed Felicity Di Laura.
It looked like the No. 6 seed would cruise to a win when she got up 9-2 in the first game, but Di Laura—who made a career-best run this week—stormed back to take it.
Not deterred, Jansen comfortably took the next two games to advance.

She will face No. 2 seed Kate Fahey on Friday.
