7:15 p.m. CST: Benitez, Quinones Garcia advance over French, Cincola

Juan Benitez and Claudio Quinones Garcia nearly didn’t make the men’s doubles main draw, but they’re certainly making the most of the opportunity now that they’re here.

After saving two match points in the Monday's final round of qualifying, they took down No. 19 seeds Brandon French/John Cincola 11-3, 12-10 Tuesday evening to make the Round of 32.

Benitez and Quinones Garcia have been developing a strong rapport on the court together in 2024, with their best result to date being a title at The Kitchen Open Austin in September.

Quinones Garcia says that the pair’s friendship off the court helps them to find their highest level on it.

“The best thing about Juan and I is that we’re friends aside from being players,” he shared. “We can be honest with each other, and we’re able to hold each other accountable which helps us a lot.”

The No. 41 seeds will face No. 12 seeds DJ Young/Callan Dawson on Wednesday with a spot in the Round of 16 on the line.

6:15 p.m. CST: Sock and Shick, Goldin and Haworth triumph in men's doubles

Sock/Shick did so with a three-game win over No. 46 seeds Nick McCollin/Austin Bricker. They dropped the opening game 11-9, but they took the next two 11-1, 11-3 to secure an overall comfortable victory.

They will face No. 16 seeds Craig Johnson/Pesa Teoni on Wednesday.

Goldin/Haworth had a much more straightforward path to the Round of 32. They came away with an 11-2, 11-5 victory over No. 27 seeds Luke Wasson/Jonny Andrews

The No. 38 seeds will next take on No. 7 seeds Riley Newman/Hayden Patriquin.

4:50 p.m. CT: Khlif, Hovenier overcome slow start to down Laidlaw, Marceau in three games

Things weren't looking good for Noe Khlif and Blaine Hovenier in their opening round men's doubles match against qualifiers Robert Laidlaw and Zachary Marceau.

After dropping the first game, they fell into a 1-5 deficit in Game 2 as the threat of a disappointingly short run at the Brookhaven Country Club loomed.

From that point on, though, the No. 23 seeds kicked into gear. They clawed all the way back to take that second game and used a 12-0 run to eventually close out the 9-11, 11-7, 11-3 victory.
